Canvas Training Process for Faculty
Step One – Sign up for a training session using the form on the right. (Dates are listed in the form)
- You will receive an email from WSU Online notifying you that “You’ve been registered for training and directing you to an online orientation to review prior to training.
Step Two – Attend training in Lampros Hall room 203
Step Three – Get your Canvas class(es) ready
- To migrate content from Blackboard Vista (WebCT) to your Canvas course, follow these instructions.
- You may work on your own or seek help from the WSU Online instructional designers.
- Be sure to refer to the Best Practices Document for ideas on how to improve your online courses.
- Additional Canvas documentation and online help is available in the Canvas Guides (by Instructure) and on this website.
